Victory Outreach UK owns properties throughout the UK. The charity purchases these properties outright in order to ensure consistent and long term provision for vulnerable people that need stability in their lives.
The homes are either exclusively for men or exclusively for ladies. Each home has a house ‘manager’ who acts as mentor to the residents, organises daily routines and schedules, and is the VO ‘person on the ground’ - liaising with the VO central administration team on a daily basis.
The house managers live on-site, in their own quarters, so they are always on hand to provide pastoral care, practical assistance and support.
Our properties range from large, detached houses - to a working farm, where the residents care for the animals.
We operate very strict rules for residents - including abstinence from alcohol and drugs, assisting with the upkeep of the property and attending counselling or treatment as appropriate. Respect for themselves, and each other, is of paramount importance, and we do not tolerate violence or abusive behaviour of any kind.
Our homes are places of solace, peace, refuge and healing - places where lives can begin again. |
